Welcome to Hull Trinity House Academy's website. I hope you find it informative, helpful and interesting.
Hull Trinity House Academy is an academy where every individual matters and every student and adult is valued and supportive of each other.
If you are visiting the site as a student or parent of a student presently attending the academy and cannot find the information that you are looking for then please e-mail the academy.
Hull Trinity House Academy remains very proud of its history and traditions and our motto ‘Spes Super Sydera’ (Hope beyond the Stars) still neatly sums up our academy's aims. Similarly our mission statement ‘Striving together to achieve excellence in everything we do’ also illustrates the academy's clear determination to work with the students, parents, carers, and anyone else that can help to provide every student who is educated at our academy with the best possible education. We like to think that carrying on many of the academy traditions, which have developed over the last 200 plus years, is not only part of our duty but a means by which we maintain the academy's significant reputation both in and beyond the City of Kingston upon Hull.
As a very small secondary academy with clear links to the Corporation of Hull Trinity House and the Trinity House Rest Homes we like to see ourselves as a large family.
Without doubt, the Brethren of Trinity House Academy who act as our foundation governors, have supported us as the academy has grown and will continue to do so as the academy seeks further expansion in its new accommodation in the centre of the city.
The academy constantly aims to keep pace with educational change but equally strenuously avoids developments that we see as not going to enhance the educational experience and life chances of our students. We like to think we offer a modern education in a traditional environment which is underpinned by our core values:
- Honesty and Trust
- Courtesy and Consideration
- Responsibility and Accountability
- Consistency and Commitment
- Mutual Respect and Fairness
