Students and staff of Hull Trinity House Academy were celebrating after receiving another fantastic set of GCSE results in 2019.
Hull Trinity House Academy has 80% of its students gaining a grade 4 or above in both Maths and English and 60% achieving a grade 5 or above, the strong pass, in both subjects.
In maths, 28% of grades awarded were at grade 7 or above with 12% of students gaining a grade 9. Whilst in English, nearly 39% of students were awarded grade 7 or above with 8% of students achieving a grade 9.
Across all subjects, 23% of students achieved at least one grade 9 and 5% of students received five or more grade 9s.
Principal, Graham Moffatt said, ‘I am absolutely thrilled with these results which reflect the hard work put in by both students and staff. We have performed very well again, both in terms of progress and attainment and we will, I’m sure, be deemed to be performing above average as a school in terms of the DFE’s performance measures.
They are an indication of the strong teaching and individual support we provide for our students.
The results are excellent across all subjects and reflect the sustained high performance of our Academy.
Congratulations and well done to all our Year 11 students. Their success is very well deserved. I would also like to personally thank our parents and carers for their invaluable support and I pay tribute to our Academy staff for the first rate education they provide for all our students.’
