Badminton Inter-house Competition

Over the past two weeks Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 have competed in an inter house badminton competition.  Over 50 students took part, with Morley coming out on top in Year 7, whilst Harrison claimed 1st place in Year 8.  In the Year 9 competition Hammond were victorious, narrowly beating Morley on points scored.  However, in Year 10 Morley triumphed by finishing in first place just ahead of second place Harrison.

A big congratulations to all of the students who participated in this competition, demonstrating a high level of skill and fair play throughout.  Tahmid in Year 7, who currently plays badminton for Yorkshire, was one of the stars of the show by winning all of his doubles matches.
If any students would like to play badminton there is an after school club every Monday, 3 pm until 4pm, in the sports hall and is open to all year groups.
