Remembrance Service

On Friday 9th November at 10.55am the Academy  assembled on the parade to hold our annual  remembrance service for the fallen soldiers of Hull Trinity House. This year was especially poignant due to it being the centenenary of the end of World War One.

Students, staff and members of other organisations who were in the Academy at the time participated along with the Brethren to hold the two minutes silence. The last post was played over the tannoy and our Principal; Graham Moffatt read out the poem 'For the fallen' by Laurence Binyon. The two minute silence ended with a student; James Stewart playing the Reveille on his drum.

Our technology department had made some poppies for the event and these were showcased in the ground.
