Sports Day 2018

The annual Hull Trinity House Academy Sports day was held on Wednesday 20Th June at Costello Stadium

Hull Trinity House Academy has been keeping the records of all track events since we began our sports day at Costello Stadium in 1987. However, in 1995 students were admitted to the school in year 7 whereas previously it was year 9, therefore records were re-written accordingly.

There were some amazing moments for our students especially on the track events where students broke records. Mackenzie (Year 8) came away with overall track record for 100m, 800m and Discus record for 1.25kg. Fenton (Year 7) broke the record for 1kg Discus and Ocean (Year 10) broke the record for the 1.50kg Discuss.

Nathan (Year 7) deserves a special mention for his stirling effort in the 800m, we are absolutely positive he is a future record breaker.

Our students overall showed grit, determination when competing and amazing sportsmanship towards each other by cheering them on. ‘Honour your school by always playing the game’.
