Life - PSHE

General Information

The Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) development of our pupils has always been at the heart of the education offered in Hull Trinity House Academy.  Our approach to PSHE is embedded in our ethos of mutual respect, partnership working and collaboration; an approach that we believe is fundamental to a full and positive participation in life in modern Britain. To find out more how PSHE and British Values permeates through everything we do at the Academy, please refer to out British Values and SMSC page.

Personal, Social and Health education permeates life in the academy and is taught as a discrete subject called Life in KS3 and KS4. These lessons not only reinforce each of the SMSC principles, but also the British Values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect for and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs and for those without faith.

Any statutory requirements not taught within the classroom environment at KS3 and KS4 are covered during the tutor time programme.
